Worl. Interesting night - Rainer came over this afternoon and we swapped tunes and suchlike. Then I was supposed to go to band, but it was called off. So I ended up meeting Katie down @ Ric's and seeing a band called Trinkets play. They were vaguely boring post-rock stuff, with some pleasant sounds coming out of Violin, Guitar, Drums, Bass and sometimes Cello. However, they did something that blew me away and put a massive smile on my dial: After their first set they had a lucky-dip, giving out Trinkets they'd made, of all different types. I scored a wire ring with beads and a metal ball attached, and I saw many a keyring and dangly wire thing. All fantastic stuff really. This turned the gig from being vaguely unintresting, to really fantastic. They also put bowls of chips (Cheese flavoured CCs) on the tables for everyone to have as well, which impressed me so much that I couldn't stop grinning like an idiot for the rest of the night.

Email update: I called Telstra Support, and listened to a recorded message say that "some customers may be experiencing difficulties accessing email. Telstra is aware of the problem, blah blah blah, hail satan.

So I hung up, I'm not going to tell them what they already know, that'd be stoopid.
