Happiness is:

Sitting at a bus stop for an hour because you're blissfully unaware that it's Saturday and you're expecting a bus every 37.2 seconds, rather than every hour.

Happiness is seeing Lydia for the first time in what feels like 2 or 3 months, but I'm assured is more like 1.

Happiness is having a sturdy platform to type on for the bus ride, because someone you haven't seen for ages decided to give you a pasta maker for Christmas. Pasta makers come in rather impressively sized boxes.

It's the knowledge that you've got a pool to swim in when you get home, and some clean clothes to change into afterwards.

It's the girl sitting in front of you in the bus reading Harry Potter. It's the abstract sculpture you pass on the way.

Happiness is the African lady who asked for the k-mart flyer you were sitting on so she could make a fan. It's making small talk with her after she reminds you that it's Saturday, and you've got another half hour to wait.

Lyds called every half hour for most of yesterday afternoon, pestering me to come over to Matt's place for a party. I was near to cracking the Funky site, so I wasn't really keen at first - I would have preferred to stay and finish the site for good - but eventually she said she was coming over to pick me up, and would drag me out if she had to, so I couldn't really argue any more.

I didn't know most of the people there, but it was ok as Lyds kept me entertained. Eventually she crashed, and I discovered that everyone else had decided to early and I was left trying to sleep on a beanbag. Beanbags are particularly good insulators. It was extremely hot last night. I didn't have a very good sleep.

One of Matt's friends decided to "program some beats man" at about 7:30AM.

I didn't have a very long sleep.

I need a drink of milk.

Happiness is 1L bottle of milk. Big enough for you to drink a whole lot of milk, but not too big to have in one sitting.
