... go see Alpinestars. Their set at Splendour was fantastical, the standout being their initial, soundcheck jamming out of carbon kid (that's an MP3, download it kiddies). Miss Kayte was outside the tent when this started up, thought Brian Molko was on stage, and spacked the hell out. He wasn't, but it was still a rather epic start to a gig stuffed full of cool.
