This is a strange, quasi-jaymis, south of the border stylee. The SOTB jaymis is currently sitting in a grass/flowers thingy outside the Newcastle town hall (Just near Christie St for those who are looking for a little rolling-in-the-grass action and happen to be called Jade). Had my panel yesterday after driving here with dave DRi, leaving Bris at 10pm-ish and getting into the hotel room at about 9:30am. Fortunately I had enough rest and caffiene on the way down to be coherent and even a little interesting if the number of questions I recieved is anything to go by. Also on the panel was Richard Brown who I studied last semester (there's at least a bit of cred for the multimedia major project) and some other rather funky kids who had hacked an atari controller to make a group-controlled tank battle game dealie thing.
I'm not sure if there's much for me as far as panels go. I definitely have a lot of free time in between nodes of interest.
(several hours later) I'm now sitting in the pod, waiting for people to come back for some lunch/dinner action. Radio TINA should soon be benefiting from a medium-sized chunk of my mp3 collection. Considering that I'm here and sitting down it might even be time for a lil picture of what's happening:
Picture may be to come. Now I'm in a venue waiting for hip-hop battles to start. No wlan access = jay may forget where he's put the picture of the 'pod.
