I am eating a tuna sandwhich

Or as Americans would call it, a tuna fish sandwhich. I was thinking about this while making my (delicious, it has beetroot and mayo as well) sandwhich, and I came to the conclusion that.. Why? Why tuna fish? It's not like there are other things which are called tuna as well. There is no tuna duck, no tuna goat, no tuna butterfly. If there was a surfeit of animals, vegetables or minerals dubbed "tuna" I could understand the "fish" being added to help people out. If it prevented only one accident - such as someone eating a "tuna poison" sandwhich - it would be worth it. With the current system though there is no extra tuna styled objects, just the fish, so I can only come to the conclusion that the "fish" that I've heard on TV so many times is redundant and whoever's in charge of americanising english is a dickhead.

Big surprise there.

In other news: I've been working mein kugeln off doing website things for the EAS and other technical things which pay more money. This afternoon will be making 2004 membership cards (if I manage to find the PDF Don sent me with the logo), some more website action and exporting of visuals for playing at the Red Room tomorrow night.

Rock.

Apology accepted Ro, the Red Room projector bulb had broken so the night was lacking in sweet sweet Jaymis visuals, but the DJ stuffing around was fun. Next week turning up earlier.
