While I was flaked out on my bed for 2 1/2 hours, sweating, unable to move or think, I recieved the following MSN message:
rainer: 7:38am my time stop going snowboarding stop fresh snowfall overnight stop cant waste this opp stop oh my god i love snow stop still snowing now stop send anything youve done stop will be back on in eight hours or so my time stop hows the heat? stop weeeeeeeeeeee stop
Yeah, thanks. The heat is lovely.
I just got an SMS from my ducky. All in Italian as she's a slackbum and likes to make it hard for me to understand what she's saying. What I eventually figured out was that she's happy, well, and moving to a new family soon! There was also some mushy girlfriend stuff in there that made me very happy but is probably not so interesting for you people. She goes to her new family hopefully sometime in or around wednesday.

This guy is 6 (count em) layers and took about 24 hours all up, including the sleep required to finish it off. The original image is from the insanely talented Ian of Machall. I emailed Ian to kindof retroactively get permission to use his image, he thinks it's "completely bad ass" and offered to pay for materials and shipping if I was to send him a copy on canvas. I need to fix some small issues up with various layers (including the shadows I left off his front foot, no idea why) and go pick up some more paint from Cal at Butter Beats, but then there shall be rockingness and Ian shall have his copy.
Erm. I'm sure there was more, but this post has been sitting on my computer getting bits slowly added to it for about 12 hours, and I have totally lost my thread, so I'm just going to post it.
Blip.
