Thailandish net cafe = cheap and air conditioned

= win!

I've been blogging on my laptop but so far haven't even tried to find any wireless connections, so the laptop stuff will stay laptopped until such time as I figure out something to do with it.

So I'll leave out last night's stuff and go straight to what's happening now - Bangkok:
We've been wandering around a bit. Checking Ko San Road and surrounds out. The hotel we're staying at is pretty reasonable by any standards, but at AU$20pp/night it's awesome.

Hmm, what else. My stomach is feeling slightly sore. That could be from hunger or could be the fried chicken with basil leaves and chilli I had for breakfast.

Still haven't encountered one of the hole in the floor toilets yet, the culture shock has been confined to slight differences in anything and the shitload of thai people running around.

It doesn't smell anywhere near as bad as everyone has warned me. The worst thing my nasal passages have encountered so far has been some of the dodgier sidewalk vendors.

Other news: I have no fucking idea. A little brain overload has occured so I'm going to keep it focussed on the task at hand - getting lunch.

Other other news: I've got my first gmail invite to give out, so whoever would like a gmail account and hooks me an email first, well they get a gmail account.

thailand woo.

ive finished my stay in belgrade and the gig at Exit Fest was insane, though im still very tired after it. novi sad was a lovely city and im in subotica now, even more lovely. the further up you go in serbia the nicer it is and the more apparent austria-hungarian architecture and cultural debris.

did i mention im tired? argh. hard to keep interested in the city youre in when youde kill you own cat just for a clean pair of socks.

will be in Slovenia soon, then back to montenegro for some more festivals. im sure youre all sick of me saying who im playing with and the peeps ive been hanging with so i wont mention any names. suffice to say the rock star crowd is far more fun then the dj crowd. did i mention how boring timo maas is?

well back out into the euro summer heat for me. today is a bit boiling. im full of raspberries that grow in a friends back yard here we're visiting. much better then the stomach upset from all the damn yoghurt they drink here. oh my poor digestive tract. :( :( :(

see you in germany. dave DRi

Got back from munich, going to france soon for tour de france, an aussie is winning it currently.

Remind me when you are coming to england and I shall prepare the luxury guest palace for you.

We're leaving Thailand [UNHAPPY FACE]. Rach flys out tonight to Helsinki then London, and I have to wait in this barren arsepit of a town (not really but it won't be as much fun alone) until tomorrow at lunchtimeish.

Next stop - Germany/Austria and reliable internetness.

Everyone who has commented here is cool. Dr Dave - you haven't posted but you're still cool and I have an elephant story.

Rock

I was going to post something about Iraq was hiding their WMD, Big foot and all the pretty girls who desperately want to jump my bones in the same room and how you, right wing facists and all the weapon inspectors in the world can't prove otherwise.

But writing is so passe.

Glad you're enjoying your fancy world tour. News from the mean streets of middle class sydney suburbia: Fuck all. Which I'm sure comes as a shock to everybody.

As for me, I haven't been stoned for 4 days. FOUR! And you know I'm not lying or I wouldn't have said 'for 4' because it sounds a bit crap.

Life is dull without drugs kids.

+ firefox wont let me push your buttons

<3 Dave.

This particular thailandish net cafe isn't cheap at all, but it's in an airport so that's to be expected.

Leaving in a bit over an hour for Munich. Managed to swing myself an exit row seat on the plane so we'll see if the travel chick was right when she said they had more leg room and stuff like that.

I know about the firefox issue, ditto for opera and basically any browser on a mac. I'm hoping that I'll have some time at some stage to sort that stuff out but funnily enough net cafes tend to be running explorer so it's been out of mind while I'm in Thailand.

That's ok though, because I bloody well PATTED A TIGER! 2 TIGERS ACTUALLY. I WAS SURROUNDED BY TIGERS AND I GAVE THEM SCRATCHES BEHIND THE EAR JUST LIKE A LITTLE KITTY CAT THAT COULD TOTALLY MAUL ME IF THEY WANTED TO.

Photos to come.

More sexiness to come.

Mein gott mein bunghole ist volcanoburnenn.
